T watched Baby Einstein when she was little and immobile whenever I needed to get something done. I really tried not to use it too much. But it was a total lifesaver when I HAD TO HAVE A SHOWER. ;) Now it’s very rare for her to watch TV at home. I know she watches some at her sitter’s house, but at home it’s not usually on during her waking hours. She’s much more capable of entertaining herself.
We cut off the cable last year, because the kids (I have two ya know) fought more while it was on. They watch PBS which is great because their programming doesn’t run 24/7. I wish I had taken this action before they were two, but yeah. TV is kind of like sugar.
