Jim and I switched to using cloth napkins daily instead of wasting their pesky paper counterparts. I’ve been a long time fan of vintage napkins so we definitely had enough to put to good use. They don’t get as dirty as I thought they would so we use them for a week and then replace them with new ones. Super easy way to cut back on paper usage!
The biggest problem with the cloth napkins has been where to store them during the week. As all of you who have older houses know, our tiny kitchen has absolutely no counter space so often times our napkins would end up either cluttering the kitchen (like here!) or messily thrown on the dinning room table.
But not anymore, now we have personalized clips to hang our napkins! Took all of 20 min. to put together. Feels good to have something on my “To Do” list crossed off…only 674 thousand more to go!

What a great idea! I like that it’s personalized. We’re always mixing up our napkins at our house. I might have to borrow this idea!
I love the use of the Scrabble tiles!
Your posts about napkins finally convinced me to get cloth ones!
Yaaaayyyyy Lilie!
Oh, good plan! I’ve just made napkins for my boys and the ‘leave them on your chair’ solution is not the neatest.
These are SO cute! I’ll be making some, not to mention linking to this project!
Ok… these are amazing! I’m making them ASAP!
