If thrift shopping is any indication, I think eve…

If thrift shopping is any indication, I think everyone in the past had really really small feet. I can never find vintage shoes in my size and I look fairly often. My size 8 feet have tried many a thrifted shoes on and these are one of a handful that fit. Aren’t they fun?!

Chicago trip went well. Had such a wonderful time with my sister and her fiance. They took us to Mitsuwa (large Japanese grocery store) and a Japanese toy store. I’m an idiot and forgot to look for craft books while at Mitsuwa. :( Guess it’s better that way since we had already spent $60 at the toy store!

What is it with the video production industry that requires them to have bars in their offices? Every single one of the houses he visited had at the very least a fully stocked bar. And we’re not talking some small cart with a couple bottles on it. It was a full on bar with bar stools and rows of alcohol. Some had more, like dance floors and theaters. Seriously, every single one. We figured it had something to do with sucking up to the clients.

Looked around at condos while we were up there. Nothing serious, just looking. The more I think about it the more I would definitely sacrifice space if we could be across the street from a park or something. It’s so easy to have a dog in El Paso. If he needs to go out, I just open the door to the back yard. Easy peasy. I know we’re going to have a hard time taking Zefram out if we’re not near a open area. I’m considering sacrificing something to the real estate gods.

Had fun seeing stuff from indie shops everywhere! Saw plushies from My Paper Crane, Sidepony cards, sets by Paper Bride and Amy Peters’ necklaces. There were a ton more that I can’t seem to remember now. All that indie goodness made my head spin…in a good way!
