WE ARE PEEPS!

Peep Wreath

So this is what I ended up doing with all the extra Peeps we didn’t destroy in Peep Wars. Poor little birdies got impaled with toothpicks and then stuck to a foam wreath. We like to think of it as our interpretation of 300, I was even going to put a little “Tonight we dine in Hell!!!!” speech bubble on the middle red one but forgot. Heh, we’re amused easily.

Our little St. Patty’s day shindig went very well. Started off with Jim and I drinking Mojitos and playing pool by ourselves, waiting for our friends. It’s always nice to spend a little down time together before everything starts up. Mmm, mojitos. As guests showed up, more mojitos were made and we warmed up the yummy fondue.

Mojitos and fondue, don’t ask. I think we were the only party not to have anything Irish. Wait…we were playing Dropkick Murphys…that’s Irish…it counts.

Zefram and Clover had their own little celebration and had 3 other friends over. For the most part the dogs played well. There was a little snarling and some time-out for Zefram but they’re dogs…it happens. Maybe they were trying to pinch each other since they weren’t wearing green?

Definitely a night full of beer, laughs and barks. Good times.

Ha! Fun and funky. So… no hot glue or adhesive spray involved? Just toothpicks? Easy enough! Thanks for the idea!
